About Us
MatrixCell is an American AI & Data Consulting firm that works hands-on with companies' data to build analytic and AI-driven tools — surfacing insights, automating routine work, and optimizing the areas where each business has the most to gain.
Most AI providers fall into two categories: firms offering custom development only for the world's largest companies, and generic AI products with few customization options. Companies in between are left without an AI solution built for them.
MatrixCell addresses that gap — working directly with each client's data and workflows to deliver the caliber of AI capability typically reserved for the largest enterprises.
Founder & President
Sam is a Harvard graduate in Statistics and the founder of MatrixCell. He has previously worked as a Teaching Fellow for the Harvard Statistics Department, for Bank of America as a data analyst, and has conducted modeling research with the Chair of Environmental Science at the University of Miami.
Project Leader
Jonas is a Harvard Statistics graduate and former Boston Consulting Group intern. He was the Head Teaching Fellow of a linear modeling course in the Harvard Statistics Department, and has conducted climate research for several political campaigns.
Machine Learning Analyst
Kelly is originally from Chicago and a rising senior at Harvard concentrating in applied mathematics on the statistics track with a secondary in government. She brings applied AI and political science research experience to MatrixCell. Currently, she conducts research at Harvard's AI and Robotics Lab, where she leads a project on how LLMs and humans make decisions.
Machine Learning Analyst
Brandon is a rising junior at Harvard studying Applied Mathematics. He's led AI integration initiatives for a private wealth advisory, led case teams advising Fortune 500 companies and national sports federations, and conducted macroeconomic research as a board member of Harvard's oldest student-run hedge fund.
